Autumn 2020

Hello!

I'm writing this on another cosy rainy day, and I LOVE this kind of weather.

If you haven't noticed from previous years already, I'm one of those people that just loves and embraces this time of year. I love cold Autumn sunny days outside exploring, and cosy rainy days tucked up under blankets. I've been doing some seasonal crafting, as always, not in a weird old lady way... just in a touch of Autumn craft here and there kind of way... I've loved catching up with pals, I've been pumpkin picking... twice and James and I have found some new cosy movies to watch, You've got Mail being one of them. Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

I wanted to share a few pictures I've taken on my Autumn adventures this year, enjoy!

First of all James and I have been in our little home for a whole YEAR now! It was this time of year that we moved in and I can't believe the time has already gone so quickly! We've loved this year so much and can't wait for the next.

The next adventure was my first trip Pumpkin picking with the lovely Bryony. We went to Tulley's Farm which as always was great! However I think because we went quite late in the day all of the small quirky looking pumpkins had already been taken... which just meant I had to go again!

Next we had our lovely pals Jack and Ross to visit for the afternoon. We went on an easy stroll through fields and woods and (I) enjoyed collecting colourful leaves along the way! We've also booked a cosy Christmas holiday with these pals which I'm SO excited for.

I couldn't leave out this beaut door mat, which I'm pretty proud of for a first try! I chose the font I liked then cut it out before stencilling around it and painting it with multi purpose paint. I'm interested to see how long it lasts! Perhaps don't wipe your feet to hard...

Our next adventure was our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with Tim and Natalie, which the boys are really not so fond of... but we need them to snap some pictures! This year we went to Poinings which was free to get into but the pumpkins are a little more expensive. We had fun collecting them nonetheless, even if we didn't take them all with us!

Then in half term I met up with Natalie and Jude for a rainy stroll and lots of puddle jumping. It's so lovely that Jude knows who we are and is starting to say our names!

Thankyou for reading!
