A Bit About Me

Hello! 

I am Emily, I live in West Sussex with my husband James and our border collie Shep.

Some might describe me as the most organised yet scatty person they know. I own more jumpers and dresses necessary for one wardrobe, I love getting outside and exploring new places, but also staying in snuggled up with a big blanket with a hot chocolate. I love all things that celebrate the seasons, from easter trees, to bonfire toffee to mince pie making. I'm a sewing machine lover and am enjoying perusing fabric stores and making clothes. My ideal evening would be around a campfire draped in blankets, surrounded by my favourite people.
I rarely go anywhere without my camera, capturing moments and experiences, despite the embarrassment I might cause my friends. So much of our time is spent planning the future, and being aware of what's going to happen next. At the beginning of 2017 I decided that I would live in the everyday, I would enjoy the little things and that I'd make the most of everything that gets thrown my way. I want this space to be a little corner of the internet where I can share my thoughts, makes and inspire others to get creative and experience joy through the seasons.
I'm not entirely sure what the next chapter will involve, but I'm excited to find out... come on an adventure with me!
