Summer 2020

Although this has been a pretty strange summer, we've definitely made the most of it and gone on lots of adventures! We went camping with friends, went away for our first wedding anniversary and done lots of day trips, along with having some chill time at home! I thought I'd share some of my favourite pictures that I've taken this summer.

We went camping with some friends at Plumpton College. It was great to spend some time outside and the weather was beautiful, we even managed to go for a couple of beach trips! We enjoyed some gorgeous food, beautiful sunsets and lots and lots of laughs. So glad to be doing life with these amazing people!

James and I had such a lovely time away in Shrewsbury. We stayed in a beautiful Airbnb just outside Shrewsbury and when we arrived we watched the Combine Harvester busy in the fields next to us. We had some yummy meals out, The Armoury in Shrewsbury is definitely somewhere we'd go back to! We explored little towns around us, I just love finding new places, and if they've got cobbled streets and colourful houses it's a win. We walked up a hill close by to where we were staying which had some amazing views, although it was very windy! We'd definitely head back to the area and explore even more.

We've also had lots of fun adventuring with Tim, Natalie and Jude. Just loving seeing the little boy the Jude is growing into, he's just so grown up!

Me and Emily went to explore a Lavender field nearby which was such a lovely trip out. It costs £4 to enter the field and it's just such a beautiful place to unwind, and of course take some pictures! Love this girl.

Lastly James and I enjoyed a very tasty afternoon tea out in Joanna's Boutique tearooms which was so special. It was bought as a gift from my children at school which was such a lovely idea. We enjoyed every mouthful, and definitely couldn't finish it so had to take some home with us! Was such a special treat.

These are just a selection of some of the memories we've made! I also had a lovely day out visiting Katie in Northampton, helping to paint baby Harris' nursery, and doing some homey bits with James too.

Thanks for reading! I'm SO looking forward to seeing what we get up to in this next season. I can't wait for all the Autumn adventures!

Emily xx
