June through the Window

Happy Tuesday!

I wanted to pop onto the blog to share some memories from this last month. As lockdown has been lifted and restrictions lessened, we've been able to start seeing friends and family from a distance, and it has been SO welcome.

I've been back at work so the working days have been longer. The weather has also been amazing so we wanted to make the most of it! Although the beginning of June on months birthday, sadly the heavens opened and the beautiful outdoor afternoon tea fun that we had planned, didn't quite go to plan! Although I guess the rain and umbrellas made it all the more fun as people came through the garage into my parents garden to celebrate. The food looked and tasted great too.

Now that we're also allowed to walk further afield, James and I have tried to find some new places not to far from us. This was only a short walk but it was so lovely to get some fresh air.

We've also been loving see our little garden grow some colour. We've got sweet peas, strawberries, tomatoes, some colourful bedding plants and even cucumbers growing!

We caught up with Tim, Natalie and Jude after not seeing them for a long time which was so good. Jude is just loving exploring and is growing up so quickly.

We then caught up with some pals from church fo some very special occasions! It was Hannah's birthday and we threw some surprise birthday bits into our catch up, and Ash and Lotti revealed the gender of their baby to us - It's a boy!!

We then popped down to goring beach for the evening with Tim, Natalie and Jude, it was a very windy trip! It was fun to hang out by the sea, and we had kebabs and burgers for dinner.

It was a fun-filled month with seeing friends and family in REAL life after seeing them on a screen for a long time. Let's see what we get up to in July!
