2019

What.a.Year.

I've been trying to work out where to begin this post and order everything that we've done this year, so much has gone in it's proving to be pretty challenging!

We started the year off with a cold but beautiful walk round Sheffield Park. I love bringing the year in by heading outside, which we've already ticked off in 2020!

We enjoyed another family holiday in February and staying in a little cottage in. We enjoyed a long walk and some family fun!

We enjoyed more walks and fun times with friends including exploring some beautiful bluebells woods.

Most of the first part of the year involved planning and making things for our wedding. We picked up our wedding rings, found suits, bought lots of sweeties in bulk, cleaned and decorate SO many jam jars and finally found a tie which matched our bridesmaid dresses! We also loved going on the marriage prep course and it has definitely helped us in these early stages of being married and living together, I'm sure we'll take much of what we learnt into years to come!

My best friends threw me the most AMAZING hen do. I had the best weekend ever, they really went above and beyond and we all had so much fun. We had an airbnb cottage and all the girls came to make flower crowns, play games and have a beautiful afternoon tea. My bridesmaids and I had a sleepover in this gorgeous cottage then we met the mums again for breakfast in the morning. I didn't want the weekend to end! Forever love these girls.

Just before the wedding we went away to Focus with the church which is a yearly festival, and if you know me well you'll know I love a bit of camping.

Then the big day came and it was the most incredible day. Everything was just as we had imagined and everyone had such a good time. I'm so glad we have our amazing pictures and video to live back the day again and again. From the moment I woke up to going to sleep in our beautiful cottage, it couldn't have been better. It was perfect.

We then flew away to Lake Como in Northern Italy for a really special honeymoon in an amazing location. Again, I really didn't want this holiday to end!

Back home we enjoyed more adventures with friends and celebrating Jude's first birthday. What a yum bag. We then enjoyed lots of Autumn adventures, again if you know me well, I LOVE me a bit of Autumn.

Amongst all of this we have been searching for somewhere for us to call home! After months of searching and lots of house viewings, we finally moved into our own home in October, and how lovely it has been. We've enjoyed welcoming people in and celebrating our first Christmas as Mr and Mrs.

We've made it to the end! I'm sure I've missed out lots of important things, but what a busy year this has been! I'll be back in a few days with a post looking forward into the next 12 months.
