2017.

Wow... what a year! I'm a little late to the party writing this but I wanted to look back at what I got up this last year to make sure I captured it all in one post.

Here's the short version...

I started the year back in Winchester teaching and finishing up my degree, then went to Madrid with Jack to visit Hannah who was living there (I wrote a long blog post on this trip!)

I then finished uni with a 1st... eek! Then I dropped everything and travelled to Thailand with my bestie where we met some amazing people and explored some incredible places (see that blog post here and here).

We made it back in time for a fantastic wedding, before heading up to the Lake District with some of my favourite people. James and I then went to another lovely wedding in September just before I started my PGCE at Brighton.

Grandad very sadly passed away in September after fighting for a long time in hospital, we've got lots of happy memories with him and Grandma which will stick with us in years to come. I started my first placement in school which I loved, and finished various assignments at uni.

Ready for a real Christmas break, James and I drove up to York for a festive holiday where James got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course I said yes. We had a wonderful Christmas with our family and friends and enjoyed New Year with Tim and Natalie, with lots of laughs as always.

...had a lovely Christmas with all the family...

...and celebrated New Year in style!
