Happy Easter!
Happy Monday!
I hope you've had a lovely Easter weekend, mine was filled with seeing friends and family, and I even had my first BBQ of the year. If you know me well, you'll know that autumn is one of my favourite seasons, but I feel like spring is coming in at a close second place now that the sun is shining!
Whenever I meet up with this bunch, our trips always involve meeting at Tesco before we start they day, apparently it's a tradition now... We got together some BBQ food and snacks, including the pitta bread and small rum collection (thanks boys) and continued to take more than our share of free chocolate eggs from the Tesco staff...oops.
With lots of visits from Jess the cat.
The rum selection, before the debates around which was best took place...
Hannah even managed a paddle, with a quick departure!
It's always a laugh meeting with this bunch, despite the time between seeing them. Sometimes It's good to put everything that needs doing aside and have a good laugh.
The weekend finished with a scrummy lamb roast with all the family, of course as chaotic as always in our house! Mum made a simnel cake, which it's origins were researched into detail (google it if you're interested...) and we played family fortunes. Whether or not we got the rules right we don't know, but it was funny!
I hope you've had a lovely Easter, however you've spent it!
Until next time,
Emily x
